appointmentsHow to See a Doctor

We have a booked appointment system. For a same day appointment, please ensure that you call the Practice as early as possible to avoid disappointment. If all of the appointments for that day have gone you will be given the option of booking an appointment for up to 2 weeks in advance or asked to try again the following day.  Please state to the receptionist if the situation is urgent - a message will then be taken for our Duty Doctor who will call you back and if need be invite you in for a consultation.

We hold some early morning and late evening surgeries for the convenience of those patients who cannot attend during the day.   These are normally bookable in advance.

Please be aware that it is not always possible to be seen by your preferred GP. This is because our GP’s all work at varying times across the week and may not be available on the day when you need to see them. We will however endeavour to try and accommodate requests for a particular GP where possible.

We now also offer telephone consultations for when you feel that there is not a need to see a GP but where telephone advice may be appropriate.

We also offer appointments with our senior practice nurse who can advise patients about minor ailments.

If you wish to book an appointment you can do this at reception or by telephoning 020 8670 2414 from 8.30am.   We look after 10,700 patients and therefore demand is high and phone lines can become clogged first thing in the morning.  Appointments are given out on a first come first served basis.   Please see above about what to do if the appointments have run out for that day but the situation is urgent.

Please let us know in good time if you cannot keep your appointment so that it is available for us to offer to another patient.

Patients who continuously fail to turn up for their appointments may be asked to find an alternative GP Practice.

We have introduced a 'Touch Screen' booking in system which has reduced the queues at the reception desk and enabled receptionists to answer the phones faster.
